#128 of 2011: Withering Tights by Louise Rennison
Tallulah Casey - still as fab as Georgia Nicolson! Really, THANK VATI, this did not disappoint, despite of its all-too obvs similarities to some trademarks of Louise Rennison’s first series. It’s really nice that Rennison decided to set this story in a province - where Lulah goes to a theater college and meets friends - because I’d love to see more and farther of Europe! And deeper of Europe’s culture, too (I actually spent an hour researching on different British accents after I read the book)! It’s a good start up for a new series - the story’s more than interesting and the characters are lovable and… err, quite very dreamy as well, which is all, in Lulah-speak: YAROO! and Oh, goodie! Surely an enjoyable treat for the tweens and feeling tweens alike!
